About me

Eduard Roccatello is the Chief Technical Officer and Founder of 3DGIS geographic information systems, provider of innovative geospatial solution.

Eduard is a serial entrepreneur, with three startup on his path.

Among other things, he writes technical articles for Linux Pro Magazine since 2005 and he gives lectures of Web Engineering and Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI).

Prior to this, he worked for a few private companies as software architect and project manager.

Eduard got his master degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Padua in 2008, presenting the first multiplatform CityGML 3D visualizer capable to run in a web browser without any specific plugin.

Eduard enjoys photography, traveling and biking.
